PREMIERE

Emerging from the heart of South Sydney, TOMMY GUN is quickly making a name for themselves in the Australian music industry. After sharing the stage with renowned artists such as Thelma Plum, King Stingray, and Winston Surfshirt, the talented musicians are now ready to take the spotlight with their much-anticipated self-titled debut album. Their single "Love Me and Leave Me" has already gained popularity, being featured on Triple J's Home and Hosed, while both his music videos have earned a spot on ABC's Rage.

TOMMY GUN's debut album is a captivating journey through heartbreak, self-discovery, and introspection. It's quite a shift from Tommy's previous project, exploring heavier guitars and finding his sound vocally.
This album represents the birth of TOMMY GUN.
"Both as a musician and as a person, it's about shedding skin and stepping into a new chapter of my life"

With his distinctive voice and catchy melodies, the lead guitar riffs are irresistible ear-worms that evoke a heartwarming, nostalgic sentiment. Bursting with enthusiasm, musicianship, and just the right amount of attitude.

One of the most noteworthy tracks on the album is "Siri," a powerful collaboration with Sydney-based artist Purple Drapes. It’s a tongue-in-cheek view into the modern-day dilemma of our addiction to smartphones, emphasising the feeling that our devices understand us better than we do ourselves. “When I look around in any public place, so many people are glued to their screens. It’s starting to feeling like we are more interested in our phones than the people and world around us. I was toying with the idea that in someway Siri is our true soulmate”.
Anyone who has ever felt too attached to their phone will find this track essential listening.

Recorded/ Mixed/ Mastered by George Georgiadis (Gang of Youths, Matt Corby, Last Dinosaurs and Jack River) this Sydney super-group will be breathing fresh life into the Australian live music scene, captivating old and new fans.
